We believe that a responsible environmental policy is as much a part of our business and life-style as our client's safety and satisfaction. Wild lands and biological diversity are threatened and disappearing quickly.
We hope to nurture a wholesome sense of stewardship, and make a small contribution by protecting some of the world's most biologically rich and beautiful coastline. We want our clients to experience the natural world, becoming a part of it, by walking softly and understanding the wonder of Kachemak Bay, one of the world's richest marine ecosystems.
The lodge commits a significant part of it's income to environmental and conservation issues, including:
Center
for Alaskan Coastal Studies,
Alaska
Conservation Foundation,
Kachemak Bay Research
Reserve,
Cook Inlet Keeper
Kachemak
Heritage Land Trust.
