The Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge is accessible via boat or float plane only from the nearest community of Homer. There are no roads to the Lodge. Homer is a 4 hour drive or a 45 minute commuter flight (www.flyera.com) south of Anchorage down the Kenai Peninsula.
